Be Respectful – Always
Treat everyone - guests, listeners, team members - with respect. Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind is not tolerated and you will be asked to leave by our team.
Stay Professional On & Off Air
You represent the station. Be mindful of your words and actions, whether you’re on the mic, posting online, or out in the community.
Use Inclusive Language
Make everyone feel welcome. Zero tolerance on slurs or discriminatory language.
Respect the Gear & Studio Space
Keep the space clean please ! And no drinks on the Technics - even with the case over it !!
On-Air Conduct
Keep It Legal
No incitement of violence, hate speech or defamation. You’re responsible for what goes on air.
No Explicit Content Without Warning
If your show includes sensitive topics or strong language, use a content warning. Let listeners decide if it’s for them.
Respect Broadcast Time
Start and end your show on time. Don’t overrun. Respect the schedule and everyone else’s airtime.
Online & Social Media
You = The Brand
When posting about the station, be kind, clear, and responsible. Don’t post anything that could harm our reputation or community.
Don’t Start Drama
Handle disagreements offline or through the proper channels. Keep online spaces positive and supportive. This also goes for our Whatsapp Community group chats.
Collaboration & Community
Lift As You Climb
Help newer members learn the ropes. Pass on what you know. No gatekeeping.
Get Involved
Join meetings, volunteer for events, share ideas. This is your station - help shape it.
Bit more serious
Zero Tolerance for Harassment, Discrimination, or Abuse
This includes physical, verbal, or online behaviour that harms others.
Substance Use
Our studio is a safe space first. Illegal substances shouldn’t be taken in the room, on the surfaces and especially not on camera. Please do not show up for your show under the influence. Be respectful of the environment we are trying to build, and be mindful not to compromise the work we put into it.
Confidentiality
Keep private info (e.g., team matters, guest details) confidential unless permission is given to share.
Reporting Issues
If something feels off or someone crosses a line - speak up.
