I'm Shanaynay and I went to sea. My reasons for going are quite the story in itself, but more on that later.

In the meantime I'm here to share tales of what it was like to be a sail ship's cook whilst voyaging from the Caribbean over the North Atlantic ocean. I share the tunes that kept me afloat in the galley, whilst cooking up a storm for the ramshackle crew of hardened sailors from the world over. You can expect dancehall & Soca, sea shanties & hip hop, and some jungle for when the waters were particularly choppy.
